I finished Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows this afternoon. I'm not going to make comments, as I'm sure there are still people out there who haven't read it, and I wouldn't want to ruin it for anyone.
After I'd finished the book, I read the brief comments about J.K. Rowling. She began this epic journey in 1990. The first book was published in 1997 and the final book in 2007. It was a good decade of solid work. I totally enjoyed it, and am sorry that it is over.
Thank you Ms. Rowling. Your efforts and imagination have given me joy and a lot to think about.
